Where we stand today. In the preceding twelve months we have not sold or shared personal information for a business or commercial purpose. We are not promising that this will always be so — our Privacy Notice explains what we build from the information we hold and what we may do with it. This page is here so the choice is yours before the question arises, and not after.
What this right is
Several US states give you the right to tell a business not to "sell" your personal information, or to "share" it for advertising that follows you across other sites. Those words have particular legal meanings — a "sale" does not have to involve money — and you do not have to work out whether they apply before you use this page. If you want out, say so and we will record it.
You can use this page whether you are someone who telephoned a business that uses Vectflow, a business that uses our Services, or a visitor to this website. You do not need an account, and we will not ask you to create one.
How to opt out
Email [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share", or use the contact form. Tell us:
- The telephone number or email address you were contacted on, or that you gave us — this is what we match the request against, and it is the only thing we need.
- Nothing else. We will not ask you to verify your identity, because the law does not permit us to make you prove who you are in order to opt out.
We act on the request within fifteen (15) business days and confirm when it is done. An authorised agent may make the request for you, on written permission.
Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser, with no further step from you. GPC applies to the browser it is sent from; it cannot cover a telephone call, so if you spoke to one of our agents, use the email route above as well.
What opting out does, and what it does not do
- It does stop any sale or sharing of your personal information as those laws define it, from the point we action it.
- It does not stop us providing the service. A business you telephoned still gets your message, your appointment is still booked, and you are not treated differently for having asked.
- It does not delete anything. Deletion is a separate right and you can exercise it at [email protected] — see Part E of our Privacy Notice.
- It cannot reach back into information that no longer identifies anyone. Once a conversation has been reduced to a summary carrying no name, telephone number, email address or street address, there is nothing in it to connect to you and nothing to withdraw. Part A describes exactly what that summary holds.
If you are a business using Vectflow
Your account has a separate and broader control: you can withdraw your customers' de-identified summaries from our cross-customer aggregates entirely, which is not the same as the right on this page. Write to us from the address on your account — see Part 3 of the Legal Terms.
Questions
